12 small things
The twelve artisan groups featured each season have been introduced to us by fair trade wholesalers, nonprofit organizations and consultants who work directly with the craftspeople. We strive to represent artisans from different parts of the world, whose stories we find compelling and worth sharing.

After playing with popular Mexican illustrations on all kinds of paper goods, we felt the need to keep exploring this cheerful theme on a different material, and enamel ware became very obvious to us. We love that enamel is the perfect blend between tradition and modernity and our enamel mugs, bowls and plates featuring illustrations of Loteria (Mexican Bingo), skulls and Lucha Libre (Mexican wrestlers) masks fit right into the Malinalco family.
Staying true to our principals, every Malinalco Home product is made in Mexico in fair trade conditions, the paper we use is almost always recycled and our enamel ware collection is 100% biodegradable.
